In October 2018 DopeBoyzMuzic flew out to NYC and met with long-time partner Dreamlife Beats. One day they booked the A room at Mercy Sound Studios in Manhattan with the mission to create original compositions that sounded lavish and timeless while staying true to the authentic New York sound.
The start of every composition was a chord progression played on a 73-key Fender Rhodes Mark 1 stage piano. In the following months, they carefully crafted each and every composition, added additional elements and gave the entire pack a cohesive sound. Lavish BSTRDS Vol.1 comes with 12 of those lush compositions (stems included).

For the most part our sample packs are royalty free. Those that are not royalty free are specifically marked as such.

If a beat or song you created with one of our non royalty free samples is to be distributed through or by a major label, clearance terms would be negotiated between the major label and the creators of the sample. If a beat or song you created with one of our royalty free samples is to be distributed through or by a major label, all we ask for is co-production credit on those records in the following form:
